About

Background

As Moore’s Law gradually approaches its fundamental physical limits, traditional electronic computing is facing increasingly severe bottlenecks in speed, power consumption, and integration density. Against this backdrop, photonic computing has emerged as a revolutionary and transformative frontier, offering unprecedented advantages in processing speed, bandwidth, and energy efficiency for next-generation intelligent information systems. By integrating breakthroughs in photonic hardware, advanced algorithm design, and high-performance machine vision, this field unlocks new opportunities for future computing architectures and practical visual intelligence applications.

Goal/Rationale

PCAMV 2026 serves as a premier international forum that bridges the gap between hardware innovations in photonics and software advancements in intelligent algorithms and computer vision. Our mission is to foster a multidisciplinary environment where physicists, computer scientists, and engineers can collaborate on transformative technologies. We look forward to welcoming you to a program featuring world-class keynote speeches, technical sessions, and networking opportunities designed to spark innovation and shape the future of computational light.
